Studded, Amsterdam



What I really like about her is her personality. It looks like she tried to combine fashionable things with things she just really feels comfortable in. The sleeves of a fur coat cut off (or rolled up?), the hat nonchalantly put on her head. And then the studded heels.. there sneaks the consciously made fashion choice into the picture.

  4. Hehe, you know what I find funny? Whenever I used to think of The Netherlands, I always imagined a bunch of tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed people, and I'm sure they do exist there, but your blog has shown me how diverse your country actually is, or at least Amsterdam, which is still really cool. Thank you for that!

    Now what bugs me here is that she looks soooo familiar to me, she reminds me of someone I know, but I still can't place who. And that's just driving me mad :P

    But yes, she looks very effortlessly cool, which is the best type of cool ever.

    Ahhh.. yes I know a lot of people from abroad who think that way about Holland. However, once you are here you will see that especially Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague are very multicultural. I read once that Amsterdam is like New York, so much diversity and different nationalities.

  11. I've never seen shoes like that, they're magnificent. I've seen heeled shoes like those with small studs on the front section, but never large studs on the heels. I also love where the zipper is located - they look like such comfortable shoes too!
