Ko Pha Ngang, Thailand

"Slow down everyone, you're moving too fast
frames can't catch you
when you're movin' like that"

Jack Johnson - Inaudible Melodies

  1. I know Jack Johnson is common stuff amongst those - especially - on holidays to places like Thailand or Bali. But, this song is just awesome - the lyrics, the vibe, his voice.

I wish everyone a good ride this summer. :)

  4. Step 1. Make a salad of avocado, turkey breast, feta cheese, salt and pepper.
    Step 2. Play music
Step 3. Click to enlarge photos.

    Sheer bliss. Thanks Dennis. xo

  5. I love the quotation. Jack Jonhson is so right! We need to "slow down" ; I've understood that when I went to Vietnam. People are different there. Time seems to run out differently too...

Your pictures are really beautiful : especially the light. =)

  6. Hahahaha, I was about to write "Wow, Dennis, I think this is the first time you've ever featured music by a popular artist here" and then I read your comment :P

I always think of Hawaii when I listen to Jack Johnson, and it's not because he is from there, but because the person who introduced me to his music was Hawaiian herself.

    Very beautiful pictures, very magical.

  7. Why are your pictures so good? Why? Tell me...

Especially the second one. It looks like a double exposure technique or something. I LOVE the colours. Keep 'm coming!

    All the best!

I understand what you mean. :)
    Thank you!

    Re: Sophie Valcras
I took them a few days ago when I was on Ko Pha Ngang. Glad you like them and the music!

    Re: diane
That sounds like a perfect set up, one that I could enjoy myself as well!

    Re: Mademoiselle C.
I also agree with Jack and you!
Thank you for liking the pictures and I sense that Vietnam would be similar to Thailand in terms of relaxation!

    Re: Rita
Yea, I tend not to post mainstream tunes, but Jack... well he is Jack! Hawaiian chillness served on a platter full of pictures :)

    Re: Jack Daniel
You would be perplexed if I told you that all these pictures from Thailand and New Zealand have been shot with the standard kit lens. :)

I feel that I have maxed out the camera, and I am considering to upgrade to heavyweight 5d mk ii, the only thing holding me back is the heavyweight price.

    Re: HEK
Thank you so much for the award! :)

    Re: ERman
I will be in Bangkok for a few more days from 1st of August!

    Re: Leonhard Breglio

i did have chicken today. went out with a couple of colleagues for lunch and there wasn't much of an alternative.

my aim is not to deprive myself of anything. just to have more of a balance and eat less meat. i'm not going to be too serious about it =) what do u thin? that's the way to go? haha
