Welcome to...

... Bangkok! A city that one can immediately sense. Your eyes, ears and nose get a functionality treatment like there is no tomorrow. If it is your first time, you will be overwhelmed by the size of the city and its buildings. Your ears will primarily hear and focus on the buzz caused by the endless motorcycles and cars that fill up Bangkok's streets and alleys. As for your nose: anyone realises that we tend to forget the power of scent? Well, I did back in Europe / The West, but here your nose gets constantly challenged by an extraordinary blend of fresh fruit, human odeur, petrol, dust, humid and delicious spicy Thai food. You will, I certainly did, not know at first whether to hate it or love it. There is a lot to tell about the Thai people, the transportation, the single or married 60+ Western men and their Thai boy- or girlfriend, the temples, the beaches, the jungle and on so many other issues. I hope to cover some of them over the next few posts. :) (Edit: The first picture is Sydney's skyline)

p.s. I posted this song in the previous post, but it redirected to the wrong mp3. Now it's the right mp3 file!

That is how I felt the first time I went to Paris. I found the markets overwhelming, and between the noise & smells, I almost got sick. It didn't take long to adjust, gladly.
Amazing! Lovely post.
