no.010, London

Amongst all the vintage that London is so rich with, this lady somehow managed to, nonetheless, stand out from all those others sporting vintage looks. Paris Fashion Week is going on right now and I am still sad that I am not there to register it. However, my graduation project is very important as it will give me all the freedom the travel once its completed successfully, haha.

  15. ohh i was under the impression it was a new post
but this explains a lot, first off why the girl was wearing a bathing suit (sort of?) when it's freezing cold outside & second why the post didn't show up anymore when i clicked back to the homepage, haha
oops. i have no idea how on earth i stumbled on an old one though, guess i should've checked the date

and concerning this post: i do need to mention you picked one of my current favourite tracks, & there's nothing about that girl's look i don't love!

Have a great weekend dear, and good luck with that project of yours :) (I'm also incredibly sad that i'm not there for paris fashion week... it's making me so nostalgic since i was there for it last seasaon!)

  20. I don't normally think much of London fashion - I mean: fashion shown in London, British designers showing in Paris & Milan are often interesting. One thing which is great about London, though, is the charity shops & the second hand shops. Wherever you go in London, you can find cool clothes for next to nothing (my favourite is the Cruisaid shop in Pimlico).

What is your graduation project about? I hope it involves fashion/photography. Good luck with it in any case.

  21. she did choose each detail very well. i particularly love the combination of the lipstick with the outfit, it's just perfect

  22. Her make up is intense, she works it really well. I think very dark lipstick always looks great on pale skins. It is no wonder she caught your eye, even surrounded by other vintage-lovers, she's truly one of a kind! Love her earrings!

  26. ah, obviously! : )

thanks, that's really great to hear! clearly loving yours too, the combination of good music & great photos is a winner i'd say! ; )

one of the reasons i started ssssound was to be able to reach out to a lot of people and try to get hold of a ffffound invite - it worked! but it's becoming less and less connected to ffffound ever since, i guess that's normal..
not linked in any professional way to it though!

  28. Hi there, thanks for your lovely comment. You have such a wonderful blog, it is so refreshing to see user generated content about fashion week rather than the reblogging of images! I will be following from now on

  30. WOW, she and this photo are gorgeous. i particularly like the fur detail and her earrings. most people do vintage pieces with modern pieces, so it is always impressive to see someone do a head-to-toe vintage look.

  40. stunning. there are certain shades of orange that have been hopelessly underused since the mid-70s, and the color of that coat is one of them. i have a pencil skirt from the 60s in a similar hue that i'm now dying to wear.
