ONE MINUTE - ASSA ARIYOSHI

Assa is a London based illustrator who hails from Amsterdam. She is currently attending Uni in the English capital and I, for one, was glad to film someone for my ONE MINUTE series projected against a backdrop that looks a bit different from what I have been able to use so far. London is just the perfect fit. One of the elements of this series is that each subject styles themselves to stay as close to who they really are as possible. Assa impressed me by dressing sleek and stylishly. I think she uses a great subdued colour palette in a city that is so known for its young, vivid and loud fashion perspective.
